A.J. Million is an Assistant Research Scientist at ICPSR, where he directs the National Archive of Criminal Justice Data. He earned his Ph.D. and MLS from the University of Missouri. An applied information scientist, A.J. bridges theory and practice to tackle hard problems that relate to creating, improving, and sustaining knowledge infrastructures (e.g., libraries and archives).

The American Association of Universities, Centers for Disease Control, Department of Defense, Department of Justice, Institute for Museum and Library Services, and National Science Foundation have funded Dr. Million’s work. Additionally, he has published in Cataloging & Classification QuarterlyCollege & Research LibrariesData Science JournalFirst MondayIASIST Quarterly, the Journal of the Association for Information Science and Technology, and the Journal of Library Administration.
