Amirhossein is a postdoctoral fellow jointly appointed at the Michigan Institute for Data and AI in Society and the Industrial and Operations Engineering Department at the University of Michigan. His expertise lies in data-driven decision-making and learning-based advanced analytics, with current projects focused on donor–recipient matching decisions in organ transplantation and integrated routing and inventory decisions in warehouse management. Amirhossein also serves as the Postdoctoral Affairs Co-chair for the University of Michigan Postdoctoral Association and as a Student Liaison for the Healthcare Applications Society within INFORMS.
