I am a research scientist in the School for Environment and Sustainability at the University of Michigan. My research focuses on the political economy of education and the politics of the bureaucracy in low- and middle-income countries with a focus in Brazil and India. I combine originally collected household survey data with large-scale administrative data to answer questions across political science, economics, and education that includes how young adults and bureaucrats for opinions about the political and social world. I leverage tools from machine learning and causal inference to answer these questions.
