The AI and Mental Health Symposium will bring together leaders from academia, health care, industry, government and community organizations to examine the growing role of artificial intelligence in mental health. Hosted by MIDAS and university partners, the full-day event is designed to foster dialogue, collaboration and action around one of the most important societal challenges of the AI era.

The symposium will convene researchers, clinicians, students, policymakers and members of the public to explore the opportunities and risks of AI in mental health care, research and everyday life. Through keynote conversations, public engagement activities and collaborative working sessions, participants will help shape discussions around responsible, human-centered approaches to AI innovation.

Focused on community engagement and cross-sector partnership, the symposium aims to connect people and ideas across disciplines while elevating the voices of those most affected by emerging technologies. The event will serve as a platform for building relationships, identifying shared priorities and advancing conversations that extend well beyond the symposium itself.
