Xinyu Liu

Mobility system design

Xinyu (Cindy) Liu is a final-year Ph.D. candidate in Operations Research at Georgia Tech, with a doctoral minor in Transportation Systems and Engineering. Prior to that, she graduated summa cum laude in Business Analytics from Singapore University of Technology and Design. Xinyu’s research interest is to develop stochastic optimization and models, data-driven methods, and computational tools to inform the design and operations of emerging mobility services, systems, infrastructures, and facilities. With the Schmidt AI in Science Fellowship, Xinyu will conduct research to leverage the predictive power of learning-based AI techniques and the prescriptive power of optimization-based sequential decision-making schemes to inform efficient and robust mobility services and systems.
