Vikas Parekh

I lead the UM-Health’s work on capacity management and patient flow including leading the development of our advanced capacity and operations command center, M2C2. My work focuses on using advanced data models, prediction models and AI to improve operational processes and flows in the hospital setting. In addition I study the impact of various capacity management interventions on outcomes and help lead a national organization (Hospital Capacity Management Consortium) focused on advanced the field.
