Research Overview

Drs. David Fouhey (Computer Science and Engineering), Ward Manchester (Climate and Space Sciences and Engineering) and the team will build a new image forecasting technique that fuses deep learning with known helio- physics. They will apply this technique to massive amounts of satellite data to monitor and forecast solar magnetic fields.
