INTRO TO DATA SCIENCE AND AI HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER CAMP
Open to high school juniors and seniors. Priority will be given to students from underserved and underrepresented communities.
Bringing Data science to YOU.
Have you ever wondered how Instagram puts dog food ads in front of you, just half an hour after you accidentally clicked on a pet store website? What are the technologies behind those cars that can “see” their surroundings and drive themselves? How does the government use “Big Data” to identify criminals, and what happens if the government is wrong? From the pixels on your phone screen to national welfare, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are changing the world in every way. In the ever-advancing Digital Age, skills in data analytics and AI are highly desirable by employers all over the country and can help citizens protect themselves from online exploitation. If you want to dive into the world of data science and AI, join us at the “Introduction to Data Science and AI Summer Camp”, jointly organized by the Michigan Institute for Data Science and the Michigan Science Center.
Who this is for: Rising juniors and seniors in high school (Priority will be given to students from underserved and underrepresented communities)
