We are hosting a special faculty brainstorming session exploring the intersection of AI and Emergency Medicine, co-hosted by the Department of Emergency Medicine and MIDAS. This session is a major initiative led by the EMD Chair, Prashant Mahajan.
Opening Presentations from institutional leaders that provide perspectives on AI in emergency care, highlight Michigan’s existing strengths in healthcare and engineering, and introduce a framework for organizing future efforts.
Breakout Discussions will focus on how AI can transform five domains: Research, Clinical Care, Education, Advocacy, and Wellbeing.
The discussion will focus on identifying ongoing efforts, unmet needs, and opportunities for collaborative work.
