Women+ Data Science: Journey Lecture Series

In an effort to showcase underrepresented groups in data science, the Student Leadership Board is hosting Women + Data Science Journey Lectures between March and April this semester. Our second Journey Lecture will be given by Carol Flannagan, PhD; UMTRI Research Professor and head of the CMISST group. The event will be held on March 24th, from 4-5pm, via Zoom and is open to all.

This event will provide a space for current data scientists to share their experiences and answer questions. Additionally, it will be a great way for students and faculty to connect and learn more about careers and research in data science. The event will consist of a short presentation from distinguished data scientists at Michigan and Q & A.
