U-M Staff Data Scientists Meet-Up

The U-M staff data scientist network is for staff members who deal with data in very diverse ways, and are at many different points in their careers.  The group provides a peer community, and supports the research, training and career advancement of its members.

2. Presentation: Edward Brown, Senior Data Scientist, Dept. Surgery: Convolutional Neural Network in Automating Image Processing.

3. Group discussion and networking (Mengying Zhang will give an update on Kaggle).

Snacks and drinks provided.  Please also invite your colleagues.  This group is open to those who think they can benefit from participating.  We don’t have a pre-set definition of who is and who is not a data scientist.
