Abstract: In this talk, I will show how machine learning algorithms can be used to analyze massive amount of transportation data to discover patterns, improve operational efficacy, and enhance the travel experience.

Bio: Dr. Ye’s research group focuses on conducting fundamental research in machine learning and data mining, developing computational methods for analysis of large-scale, high-dimensional, heterogeneous and complex biomedical data, and building informatics software. Research areas include clinical and biomedical informatics, databases and computing, statistical and bioinformatics applications and software.
