Amazon Web Services virtual workshops:

The three full-day workshops will take place June 24th, July 15th, and July 29th.

In the morning the use of AWS for data analysis, machine learning, and cloud computing will be covered. The afternoon will be an open “office hours” session where people can receive one-on-one advice and assistance with using various AWS components in their research. Participants will attend both the morning and afternoon sessions, and will be allowed to sign up for multiple days if desired. The workshops are open to any U-M faculty, students, or staff.

Event Itinerary:

Morning:

9am-10am: Review AWS road-map, including features that AWS is planning to release soon. Give overview of depth of AWS.

10am-11am: Overview of Sagemaker

11am-{whenever}: Self paced Sagemaker labs

1pm-3:30pm: Open virtual office hours
