On November 15-16, 2016, the Michigan Institute for Data Science (MIDAS) will hold its Annual Symposium, which is open to everyone in the U-M community and the general public. We invite students across all U-M campuses engaged in aspects of data science to submit a poster.

What: MIDAS Annual Symposium

Where: Michigan League, 911 N. University Ave., Ann Arbor, MI

When: Nov. 15-16, 2016

Description: The symposium will feature speakers from across the United States and Europe, including leaders of academia, government, and industry. Confirmed speakers include:

  • Christos Cassandras, Boston University
  • Patrick Wolfe, University College, London
  • Xihong, Lin, Harvard University
  • Robert Groves, Georgetown University
  • John Fletcher, Institute for Defense Analyses

Poster session: All students on U-M campuses are invited to submit posters related to their research in data science. Posters will be selected and chosen for awards based on academic rigor and quality.
